32 FURNIVAL
It is very difficult to date this plate. The only clue is the impressed FURNIVAL mark and number 32. Comparison with other pieces impressed with "32" suggests an earliest date of 1902. However, this does not match the "Furnival" impressed stamp, as the company operated under this name from 1890 - 1895. It is possible that the plate was produced during the Furnivals Limited era (1895 - 1912) ... we have found other items made during this period which also have the Limited part of the company name missing.
Type: Dinnerware Colours: White and multi-coloured Pattern: The main pattern around the edge appears to be stylised oriental flowers, such as chrysanthemums. However, a different motif is included within each of the four decorative panels.
