Jacob & Thomas Furnival
The company of Jacob & Thomas Furnival Junior was founded at the Stafford Street Pottery Works, Miles Bank Shelton, Hanley, Staffordshire. They were producers of earthenware and ironstone. The company was involved in the export trade to America, through the agency of Peter Wright & Sons of 259 High Street, Philadelphia. According to John A. Walthall in Queensware Direct from the Potteries, one pattern in which the company dealt was Furnival's Pastoral. The partnership dissolved on 29th December 1843, all debts to be paid and received by Thomas. |
