Maker: Jacob Furnival Elder Road, Cobridge, Staffordshire
Date of manufacture: Jacob Furnival traded from 1845 - 1870. However, it is suggested by the White Ironstone Association that this shape originated in the 1850's, so pieces in this design could date between 1850 - 1870.
The teapot does not bear a mark. The following description and all images have been provided by an ebay seller, who is the nephew of the owner of the piece - Bill Byers of Rockford, Illinois. Bill is a founding member of the Flow Blue International Collectors Club. Grateful thanks to both for very kindly giving us permission to publish these photographs.
